2020/2021 TORONTO FASTPITCH CLUB TRY OUTS

The Toronto Fastpitch Club 19U team is pleased to announce the 2020/2021 season try out details below. Are you a dedicated, energetic, positive and competitive softball player? If this is you, please don’t hesitate to contact our coaches for more information regarding our program. The coaching staff includes Head Coach Alan Spohn, Assistant Coaches Robyn Draper, Mike Smuk, Lauren Ferreira as well as special appearances by previous players that have graduated our program and gone on to succeed at the collegiate and national level.

Toronto Fastpitch Club offers:

Elite Level Coaching & Training with National, NCAA, and Canadian Intercollegiate Experienced backgrounds.
In House: Hitting, Defensive Positions, Pitching, Catching, Strategies, Mental Prep, Strength Training – You are not parcelled off to paid coaches for training.
All coaches are unpaid volunteers and Toronto Fastpitch is a not-for-profit Club.
Our own dedicated training facility.
Fall/ Winter Weekly Indoor Dome Practices.
Admission to the top US Invitational Tournaments – Fall & Summer.
We pride ourselves on building “TEAMS” that work as a unit to improve individually to reach our goals.
Year-round training with appropriate breaks.
A fall & winter tour with college and university games.
We are committed to Softball Canada Nationals, and the Team Ontario Program.

*The coaching staff is open to 16U players that feel they can excel in our program. We currently have three starting 2023 (grad year) players, as well as an exceptional 2022 (grad year).

2020/2021 Tryout Dates:

Monday September 7 @ Noon: Pitchers & Catchers The TFC Warehouse, 224 North Queen St, Toronto *Please bring a face mask to wear for the entire try-out as well as running shoes for our indoor facility*

Monday September 7 @ 2:00PM: All Other Positions The TFC Warehouse, 224 North Queen St, Toronto

Tuesday September 8 @ 7:00PM: Full Squad @ Paul Coffey Park, 3430 Derry RD E Mississauga

Thursday September 10 @ 7:00PM: Full Squad @ Mississauga Valley Park, 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd. Mississauga

We will follow PWSA/Softball Canada Protocols once they are announced. We will adjust the number of players at each tryout and adjust times as required. As we have our own private training facility, this flexibility is no inconvenience.
