2022 & 2023 Toronto Fastpitch Club U19 Introduction & Overview

After a successful 2022 summer season, we’ve decided to explain our program in more detail as the pandemic has provided some unfortunate gaps and questions. In 2022, the TFC 19U program finished 5th at Nationals with a 7-2 record. Our two losses came at the hands of the Gold & Silver place teams by a combined 3 runs. Stand out player awards for the week went to our All Star Outfield recipient Shannon Howes who will be attending University of Massachusetts at Lowell (DI) while Amy Hughes (Simon Fraser University DII) received the All Star Infield award. The entire team put on an offensive and defensive show, with 77 hits in 9 games, 7 home runs and 14 doubles. Roster addition Olivia Simcoe struck out 39 with an ERA OF 1.56. The entire team pitching staff ERA was 1.91. We are very proud of the work ethic and season trajectory that we enjoyed in our first full year back in play since the world paused. In 2022, our roster only included three 2003 players, with the rest eligible to return. This team is coming back to fight for a National medal in 2023. For more information on what we offer players, please continue to read the information provided below.

  • Players & Parents must follow and sign a “Code of Conduct Agreement” that outlines expected player behaviour and educational goals

When traveling to US and major competitions:

  • The players room together (3 or 4) to a room. This is not covered in the $2200 fee and will add approx. $1,000.00 / player
  • We have found that not all parents travel to all events so we set up car pooling with coaches and traveling parents. This helps keep the cost down.
  • If flying we will rent 15 passengers vans for coaches and players. The players are responsible for the cost of flights and added transportation. The parents, if attending can treat it as a mini vacation.
